2024 SEASON 2 FINAL JACKPOT ROUND

8 teams competed in the Season 2 Final Jackpot Round.
The average number of questions correctly answered was 5.75 out of 12.

4 teams each answered the most questions correctly - 7 out of 12 questions correct.

For Question 1, Sunboyz took the lead, answering the question in 1.247 seconds.

They had a 2-point lead over Pink Bits in 2nd place.

Children Of The Revolution were a further 3 points behind in 3rd place.

Sunboyz wouldn't appear in the top 3 places again until Question 5.

On Question 2, Pink Bits took the lead and stayed there until Question 5. 

For Questions 2 to 4, Betty Swallows and COTR took it in turns to be 2nd and 3rd.

At Question 5, COTR began their downhill slide into obscurity.

Betty Swallows grabbed the lead on Question 5.

They were one of only four teams who knew where Lakes Entrance was.

Sunboyz reappeared at 2nd place.

Team Nunya made their first appearance in the Top 3, in 3rd place.

Sunboyz answered Question 6 (U.S. 1st Amendment) correctly in just over 9 seconds.

Betty Swallows took nearly 38 seconds to get it right.

This resulted in Sunboyz swapping places with Betty Swallows and grabbing 1st place.

Pink Bits snuck into 3rd place, just 37 points ahead of Stuffed If Barney Knows.

Sadly, this was the last question that Stuffed If Barney Knows got right.

It was their turn to slide into obscurity.

Sunboyz got Question 7 (flag of Nauru) wrong, but Betty Swallows and Pink Bits didn't.

Betty Swallows moved into 1st, Pink Bits into 2nd and Sunboyz down to 3rd.

Sunboyz were the only team to get Question 8 (Priscilla Pointer) right.

This propelled them back into 2nd place, just 218 points behind Betty Swallows.

Pink Bits moved to 3rd, 438 points behind Sunboyz.

Only Denny Crane and Team Nunya got Question 9 (the moon Themisto) right.

This resulted in Team Nunya moving into 3rd place with a 332 point lead over Pink Bits in 4th.

The top 4-placed teams all got Question 10 (Anguilla Channel) right and Question 11 (Taco Bell) wrong.

So for Question 9, 10 & 11 it was Betty Swallows 1st , Sunboyz 2nd, Team Nunya 3rd, Pink Bits 4th.

Pink Bits was 746 points behind Betty Swallows!

The final question was about the internet code '.mr'.

The only team to get this right was Pink Bits, taking him 24.225 seconds to answer correctly.

It was his lowest-scoring answer of the round, earning him just 596 points.

Betty Swallows lost 200 points for an incorrect answer.

It was their greatest point loss of the round.

This means Pink Bits picked up 796 (596+200) points on Betty Swallows.

Betty's 746-point lead turned into a 50-point deficit.

Pink Bits went from 4th place to 1st place on the final question!!!

The top 3 teams all dropped down a place.

Pink Bits took out the Major Jackpot, winning $300.

Betty Swallows took out the Minor Jackpot, winning $100.

Sunboyz took out the Mini Jackpot, winning $50.
