2025 SEASON 4 FINAL JACKPOT ROUND

7 teams competed in the Season 4 Final Jackpot Round.
The average number of questions correctly answered was 7 out of 12.

The 3 winning teams all answered 8 out of 12 questions correctly.

The position where they finished depended on how quickly they answered questions correctly or incorrectly.

Question 1 - In which Australian state is the town of Forbes located?

Every team answered correctly.

Sunboyz answered the fastest and took an early lead.

Team Nunya were next fastest with Betty Swallows just behind them.

Pink Bits and Stuffed If Barney Knows were in 6th and 7th place respectively.

Question 2 -  Which word completes the title of Shakespeare's play - "The Two Gentlemen Of …..."? 

Once again, every team answered correctly.

Children Of The Revolution jumped up into 1st place.

Ita Buttcheeks and Sunboyz were tied for 2nd, just 2 points behind COTR.

Betty Swallows were a further 1 point behind them.

Question 3 - What is the only Australian state that has NOT had a female Premier?

This is exactly the same question in exactly the same place as in the Season 3 Final.

All teams that competed this season got it right last season.

However, for whatever reason, this time Ita Buttcheeks and COTR got it wrong!

This allowed Pink Bits to grab the lead for the 1st time.

Sunboyz stayed in 2nd, 18 points behind Pink Bits.

Betty Swallows stayed in 3rd, but now 30 points behind Sunboyz.

Question 4 - Who directed the music video for Lady Gaga's 2025 song "The Dead Dance"? 

Ita Buttcheeks was the only team who got this wrong.

Pink Bits stayed in 1st place.

Betty Swallows answered nearly 11 seconds faster than Sunboyz, allowing them to move into 2nd place.

Their lead over Sunboyz was 141 points.

Question 5 - In which fictional country are "The Hunger Games" series of novels (and movies) set?

Every team answered correctly.

All positions (1st to 7th) remained the same.

Pink Bits had a 77 point lead over Betty Swallows.

Betty increased their lead over Sunboyz to 183 points.

Pink Bits, Stuffed If Barney Knows, Sunboyz, Team Nunya and Betty Swallows all answered the first 5 questions correctly.

But that's where the run for all 5 teams came to an abrupt stop.

Question 6 - In which year was the last person sentenced to death in Australia?

Ita Buttcheeks was the only team who answered this question correctly.

Despite this, every team remained in the same position.

Betty Swallows took longer to answer (incorrectly) than Pink Bits and Sunboyz.

This resulted in them gaining 35 points on Pink Bits and 6 points on Sunboyz.

Question 7 - How many stars are there on the A.C.T. flag?

Only Pink Bits and Ita Buttcheeks answered correctly.

Pink Bits' lead over Betty Swallows increased to 1116 points.

Sunboyz were a further 213 points behind.

Sadly, this was the last question that Ita Buttcheeks got right and they disappeared into obscurity.

At this point, Stuffed If Barney Knows were sitting in 6th place.

Question 8 - What is the medical term for a clogged hair follicle in the skin?

Pink Bits and Betty Swallows got this wrong, but Sunboyz and Stuffed If Barney Knows got it right.

(COTR also got it right, but they were in no position to threaten the leaders.)

Sunboyz moved into 2nd place, 311 points behind Pink Bits.

Stuffed If Barney Knows jumped from 6th to 3rd, 634 points behind Sunboyz.

Question 9 - "Male Unbonding" is the name of the only episode of which TV series that does

NOT begin with the word 'The'?

Sunboyz was the only team who answered this question correctly.

This allowed them to take the lead, 905 points ahead of Pink Bits in 2nd.

Stuffed If Barney Knows stayed in 3rd place, a further 811 points behind.

Question 10 - Which 5-letter word is the term for the fungi of a particular region?

Sunboyz and Stuffed If Barney Knows got this right, but Pink Bits didn't.

This resulted in Pink Bits dropping down to 3rd place.

Sunboyz' lead over 2nd-placed Stuffed If Barney Knows was 1891 points.

Pink Bits trailed Stuffed If Barney Knows by 21 points.

Question 11 - What is the unit of currency in Ghana?

This time it was Pink Bits and Stuffed If Barney Knows who got this right and Sunboyz who didn't.

Sunboyz held onto 1st place - they had a lead of 792 points over Pink Bits.

Stuffed If Barney Knows dropped back to 3rd place, 53 points behind Pink Bits.

Question 12 - Founded in Israel in 1996, in which year was instant messaging client ICQ shut  down?

Only Pink Bits and Children Of The Revolution answered correctly.

Pink Bits took nearly 25 seconds to answer correctly.

This resulted in his lowest scoring question of the round - 594 points.

Sunboyz lost 204 points for getting it wrong.

This meant that Pink Bits gained 798 (594+204) points on Sunboyz, resulting in the win by just 6 points!

If Pink Bits had taken a second longer to answer correctly or Sunboyz took a second longer to answer incorrectly, there could have been a very different results.

Stuffed If Barney Knows finished in 3rd place, 799 points behind Sunboyz.

Pink Bits took out the Major Jackpot, winning $300.

Sunboyz took out the Minor Jackpot, winning $100.

Stuffed If Barney Knows took out the Mini Jackpot, winning $50.

Pink Bits' last Major Jackpot win was Season 3 Final in August.

Sunboyz' last Minor Jackpot win was Season 5 Final in December 2024.

This is the first Mini Jackpot win for Stuffed If Barney Knows.
