2024 SEASON 4 FINAL JACKPOT ROUND

8 teams competed in the Season 4 Final Jackpot Round.
The average number of questions correctly answered was 7 out of 12.

The top 4 teams all correctly answered 8 out of 12.

It was all down to how quickly teams did or didn't answer correctly as to who ended up with a higher score.

Unlike Season 3 when Pink Bits virtually locked in the win at Question 3, this time the lead changed 5 times.

Question 1 - speedy Children Of The Revolution scored 970 points and every other team scored 949 points.

Question 2 - COTR maintained their lead and Pink Bits moved into 2nd place by himself.

Question 3 - Betty Swallows answered correctly in under 2 seconds, moving into 1st place.

COTR took just over 7 seconds to answer correctly and moved down to 2nd place.

Pink Bits took nearly 25 seconds to answer correctly and ended up in 3rd place.

Unfortunately, Betty Swallows got Question 4 wrong, which allowed COTR to moved into 1st place.

Pink Bits moved into 2nd place at Question 4 and stayed there for the next 5 questions.

COTR hung onto the lead for Question 5, but then hit a rocky patch from which they never recovered.

Question 6 - Team Nunya snatched the lead from COTR, leapfrogging over Pink Bits who stayed in 2nd place.

(Team Nunya and Pink Bits were the only teams to get the first 6 questions correct.)

Team Nunya had a 208 point lead over Pink Bits.

At this point, Sunboyz had moved into 3rd place, 456 points behind Pink Bits.

It stayed like this for the next 3 questions.

Question 7 - Team Nunya's lead increased to 216 points.

Question 8 - Pink Bits clawed back to be only 131 points behind Team Nunya.

Question 9 - Team Nunya's lead dropped to just 58 points!

Sunboyz were now 375 points behind Pink Bits.

Horror! Team Nunya got Question 10 wrong, but Pink Bits and Sunboyz answered correctly.

Pink Bits moved into 1st place, Sunboyz into 2nd place and Team Nunya dropped to 3rd place.

Sunboyz answered in under 4 seconds, whereas Pink Bits took nearly 20 seconds to answer.

The difference was down to 205 points. 

Question 11 - both Pink Bits and Sunboyz got this wrong.

This time Pink Bits' slower answer - almost 32 seconds - paid off and he only lost 108 points.

Speedy Sunboyz paid the price - their 4 second wrong answer cost them 231 points.

Pink Bits now had a lead over Sunboyz of 328 points.

It all came down to the final question.

Alas, Pink Bits answered incorrectly, but Sunboyz got it right.

Pink Bits lost 107 points, while Sunboyz gained 947 points.

This meant that Sunboyz gained 1054 points on Pink Bits.

This was more than enough for Sunboyz to claim victory!

Sunboyz took out the Major Jackpot, winning $250.

Pink Bits took out the Minor Jackpot, winning $100.

Sunboyz' last Major Jackpot win was Season 2 Final in June 2023.

Pink Bits' last Minor Jackpot win was Season 3 Final in August 2023 .

There were 2 questions that no team got correct -

There were no questions that only 1 team got correct.

Only 3 teams - Sunboyz, Children Of The Revolution and Betty Swallows - 

had an average score per correct answer in the 900s.
